Background Story[]
Little Yuliya after suffering from an unidentifiable disease acquires a special ability to foresee tragedy. First, it starts as her foreseeing her friend’s injury, which does occur shortly after. Of course, her parents do not believe her and disregard the incident.
One day Yuliya again predicts a village baker’s death from car accident. She immediately runs to the bakery to inform the baker about what she has foreseen, but he kicks her out. He faces death few days later.
More accidents occur where Yuliya precisely foretells people’s death, and the victims dying after ignoring Yuliya’s warning. Villagers then start blaming Yuliya for people’s death, calling her the “death god.” Yuliya turns into a somber character and never leaves her house.
When Yuliya becomes 13, the World War erupts. Yuliya warns the villagers, and they take refugee, but the train they take gets raided by the Empire. Goddess Kiss saves them just in time, but people bash Yuliya for not being able to predict the attack.
Seeing that Yuliya is hurt by people’s duplicity, E-Han—the head of Goddess Kiss Team—offers to take her with him. He brings her to R.E.A.P, where Yuliya is given the opportunity to start a new life. Moreover, E-Han commissions the researchers of R.E.A.P to invent the medication to prevent foreseeing death.
Yuliya’s new happy life does not last long. Without her ability, she could not predict E-Han’s death on the battlefield. Afterwards, she stops taking her medication and enlists in Goddess Kiss to repay E-Han’s kindness.
